JonDeTech receives a design win regarding JIRS40 from Chinese Yoyon and an initial order

JonDeTech has received a design win from Zhuhai Yaoyang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (Yoyon), a major Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) in the smart locks market. The design win for JIRS40 is intended for use by a Tier 1 smart lock OEM. This is JonDeTechs first design win with the packaged sensor JIRS40, which was recently added to the product portfolio. An initial order of JIRS40 with an order value of USD 56,100 has already been received from Yoyon.

The design win is related to JIRS40 hardware and software components developed by JonDeTech. In addition to the initial order, JonDeTech sees a high potential for recurring orders.

Zhuhai Yoyon Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a Chinese high-tech enterprise with its headquarters in Zhuhai City in the Guangdong Province. The company vertically integrates biometric algorithms, chip development, sensor development, solution development, and production. They provide high-tech, low-cost fingerprint, face, finger vein, and voiceprint biometric solutions and products for various fields, such as smart locks, elections, bank security products, and smart building intercoms. And they occupy a considerable market share in these fields. They are also known for being China’s electronic smart lock technology center.

JIRS40 is a packaged sensor product that was recently added to JonDeTech’s offerings, it fits well into and complements the existing product portfolio. In addition to the sensor’s good features regarding price and performance, it works very well with the company’s patented software for presence detection (wake-on approach).
