Progress in JIRS30 & JIRS10
We are glad to announce advancements with our JIRS30 sensors. These patented thermopiles, based on vertical nanowires in porous plastic, have moved into full-scale production with Varioprint. With a robust stock of engineering samples already produced, our qualification tests have validated the sensors’ high performance and durability, affirming their readiness for commercial deployment. As we finalize qualifications, we are actively integrating these sensors into various smart device projects, showcasing their versatility and efficiency. Our JIRS10 sensors have also made significant strides. This product, containing the JIRE10, has been thoroughly evaluated and approved by our Taiwanese partner. They have now completed their product development and initiated the launch. They are currently offering customers development kits (EVK) and engineering samples.
Developments & Commercialization
Our automated sorting and packaging processes for JIRS30 are set to streamline distribution, supported by a new measurement method established for rapid signal processing. This system is now to be integrated in operational mode at our partners facilities,ensuring high-capacity and quality final packaging. As we ramp up for higher volumes, JonDeTech is establishing a dual-source strategy to accommodate potential surges in demand.
Launch and Expansion of JIRS40
The commercial journey for JIRS40 ha been ongoing since launch in H2 2023. Developed in collaboration with an Asian partner, this silicon MEMS thermopile is now being promoted through our distributors and the Shanghai office, focusing on high-volume global deployments. The ongoing projects in temperature measurement and presence detection highlight the sensor’s adaptability across various applications.
Customer Project Engagements
The JIRS30 and JIRS40 sensor lines are witnessing strong interest from the market, with multiple customer projects underway, supportet by our EVK:s. These range from smart wearables like earbuds and watches to smart plasters, leveraging our sensors for body temperature measurement and presence detection. Our core team, along with our distributors, is actively managing projects for presence control, further broadening the applications of our sensors in the global market.
