JonDeTech with its Taiwanese partner has completed Engineering Samples of ASIC based on JIRS10

In the spring of 2022, JonDeTech signed a strategically important agreement with a cooperation partner in Taiwan. The agreement created the conditions for participation in developing an IR sensor solution based on an integrated circuit, a so-called ASIC. The collaboration partner now has a working ASIC and built the Engineering Sample successfully. They are now preparing data sheets and an evaluation kit. In addition to delivering JIRS10 to the partner, the plan is for JonDeTech to be able to market the ASIC based sensor to existing and new customers via a reseller agreement. The first volume deliveries are expected to occur at the beginning of 2024.

The main application area of the integrated circuit will be remote temperature measurement and presence detection.

– While JonDeTech focuses on selling the sensor to our customer base in Europe our partner will leverage its strong customer base in the rest of the market. A joint product launch is planned for 2nd quarter of 2024, revenue expected to roll in from Q3 2024. Sales revenue from both JIRS10 and the future ASIC will be an essential part of JonDeTech’s path to becoming a profitable company, says Dean Tosic, CEO of JonDeTech.
