JonDeTech Sensors AB (publ) (“JonDeTech” or the “Company”) announced today that the Company has completed the implementation of a fully automated process for measuring, sorting, and packaging its proprietary JIRS30 sensor. The new process uses the Tape & Reel method, enabling efficient delivery of pre-packaged sensors directly to end customers.
This automated solution allows JonDeTech to manage finished panels produced in collaboration with its Swiss partner, Varioprint AG, and ensures that functional sensor elements are smoothly transferred into final packaging for delivery to module manufacturers and product development companies.
Over the past year, JonDeTech’s development team has worked intensively to design a module for the rapid and precise inspection of JIRS30 sensors, enabling accurate sorting of fully functional units. This module is now integrated into JonDeTech’s supplier Aptasic SA’s fully automated packaging line, meaning JonDeTech is ready to efficiently handle and deliver sensors from production to distributors and customers worldwide.
“This is a very important milestone in our efforts to ensure that our customers can receive JIRS30 in packaging suited for their assembly lines,” said JonDeTech’s CEO Leif Borg.
On the Company’s website, there is a video showcasing the automated process (https://www.jondetech.com/products/).
